Mommy

Today, I had a rough day. Just as we all do in life, it wasn't turning out how I hope it would. I'm stressed, overwhelmed, and I feel like nobody understands me. I didn't even say a word about not feeling well, but my mom knew; mother's intuition she cites as her source of knowledge.

I'm still having a crappy day, but knowing that I have such a great mom and that she cares makes me as happy as I'll ever need to be. So I smile, half-heartedly for now.

If It Makes You Healthy

Okay, so admittedly I did get this from my sisters Facebook wall because a friend of hers put it there a month or so ago, but how great is this??? 

I want to buy it. 1st of all, healthy food = greatness and hot bodies. Secondly, I just think the title is super funny in itself. And I love Sheryl, I mean who doesn't!?!
In case you aren't getting the connection, one of Sheryl Crow's most famous songs goes....

They just took the name and switched the last word, but it works perfectly! "If if makes you healthy, it can't be that bad" :)

Washington Jacket

It sounds retarded, but this Jacket legit made me happy today.

When my brother and I were checking out University of Washington about a year ago (amazingggg school by the way) we both bought these jackets to keep warm because we packed too southern california-conservatively. IT IS SO WARM. I'm ghetto now so I wear it around, to bed, to school. I live in it. As the summer is approaching here in SOCAL and it is still freezing!!!! I love this jacket and the warmth it brings me. When UW beat USC in some basketball game (not that I care) my brother hid my jacket and didn't give it back until about 8 months later. Now that I have it back, he still gets pissed off when he sees me wearing it but i'm happy because i'm warmm!!!!! :)

Phineas and Ferb

Today was a genuinely great day! A lot of stuff made me happy, but the one thing that stood out is my newfound obsession...

The characters are so funny (especially this diva Candice!!!) and their adventures make me smile. I seriously love the creators of this show for their funny scripts and whatnot. I also like that the episodes are short, only 15 minutes, so you don't have to stay there watching it for an extended period of time! 

If only I had as much time as these two kids do over my summer! But instead i'll be overwhelmed wit hAP homework and SAT Prep every stinkin day!!!!!! gahhh! It will all be worth it in the long run :)

I gotta go finish my homework so I can watch some more before bed! :)

Sweet Home Alabama

Every single day, something makes me happy. Happy to be alive, happy to know the people I know, and happy that I am blessed with the life I lead. Rather than let each happy moment fade with each fading day, I've decided to reflect on these moments by posting them hear so that I can forever remember them and the joy they brought me.

Today: Sweet Home Alabama

This movie is seriously great whenever. A perfect love story that really isn't predictable (unless you've seen it 453 times like me) like all the other movies these days. You can't decide who to root for the whole time; the charming new fiancée or the longstanding, screwed up husband who she is truly destined to be with. It's witty, quotable, and just perfect altogether.

You can't help but love Reese Witherspoon's character and her past as 'felony Melanie' :)


This movie makes me happy because it can brighten my day always and it never gets old, I ALWAYS keep it recorded, and I still have it on VHS! :) 
.....and yes, I'm watching it right now too.
